This is something of a problem.
First up: WRX STi.
I’ve wanted one since about as long as I can remember. A local example caught my eye recently. Caveat emptor was the prevailing wisdom of the day:

Next up is the Ural.
!!!CAPTION ERROR: MAY BE MULTI-LINE OR CONTAIN LINK!!!I’m solidly entrenched in the “two wheels good” as a mountain biker (ok, ambitious but rubbish reformed roadie). My back is nearly shot- my next (fat) bike will probably be my last stop before a recumbent (*hurk*). I’ll need to get my two/three wheel fix somehow. I think this is the answer. Again, we’ve discussed this before:

It just looks like so much fun. It’s kid haulage-compatible and stable enough as to not further fuck with my back. That’s a win-win.
Next is the curious MGB. It’s just so...
!!!CAPTION ERROR: MAY BE MULTI-LINE OR CONTAIN LINK!!!British racing green. Perfect.
I was, however, confronted recently with the reality of ownership:

Last but certainly not least, is the Sunbeam Alpine.

It’s not something that I’ve ever really been attached to, but this has been for sale near my office for two years. I drool over it twice a day, every day. The more I see it, the more I grow to like it. It’s getting to the point that I’m afraid one day it’s not going to be there.

What to do?

Year-round Maine motorcycle commuting. Yes, please.

This has got to be the most scattered cross-shop list I have ever seen.
How about a Piper or a Steinway & Sons?

Also: I decided not to further confuse the list with my aviation wants, although I did consider it...

I reckon you should get your open driving experience in while you can. Even a Ural can be kinda hard on oneself to operate, so I’d go with that while you can. Plus, how many other people can commute in snow on their bike comfortably?

The Ural is by far the most interesting.

You have pretty closely matched my taste in cars. Go see a therapist before you reach the Aztec.

I don’t know how the roads are in EU (I am presuming from the Sunbeam & MGB) but wouldn’t the Subaru be the modern pick? #GravelTarmacSnow

Remember this will probably be your best chance to ever get your hands on a Sunbeam. WRX STis and MGBs could be obtained at any time but the Sunbeam cannot, due to supply and demand.
On an unrelated note, the Ural is awesome.
Most realistic option is the Scoob though.

Maine, actually. And yes, you're absolutely right.

Alpine for sure. Shelve the stock parts and turn it into a Tiger if you want to have a ton of fun. That price seems steep though, maybe that's why it's been sitting for two years
